Of course you first made sure to find and keep aside any silver quarters (1964 or earlier)...right?

Remember any quarters and dimes issued on or before 1964 are solid silver and will be worth a lot more now as silver than currency as the price of silver has rocketed. One pound in weight is about 80 silver quarters which is 20 dollars in currency value, but currently Silver is 29 dollars an ounce. 16 ounces in a pound which means that for the silver value 1 pound in weight of old 1964 quarters is worth 464 dollars. A local pawn broker will give you about 250 to 300 dollars, but shop around. But it’s worth checking the year of these quarters and dimes.

I've used two coin counters in my life, both times I counted the money myself and both coin counters jipped me. One got me for $6 and the other got me for $9. I got my own small coin machine and roll it myself.

I once went to staples with a bag worth over £70 of 1p, 2p and 5p coins with some 10p and 20p coins. I save all my spare change and I pick up every coin I find.

Around the year 2005, I cashed in a huge hoard of quarters and wound up with a little over $8000. I had been saving quarters for 10 years. Moral: don't save pennies

When I go to the coin machine I always go slow I think sometimes people always wanna go to fast. I was always told by the bank to go slow because I can break the machine I never new that I always go slow now

Next time wait until the counter counts the first way to estimate how much you should get and you won't break the machine
