Elizabeth Holmes has reported to a federal prison in Texas. It marks the beginning of the disgraced Theranos CEO’s 11-year sentence for lying to investors about her blood testing startup. Holli Coulman, a women’s prison consultant, says Holmes is not “getting the normal experience” due to COVID protocols at the facility.

She's never taken responsibility. Blamed it all on Sunny and fought it tooth and nail all the way. Appeal is working its way through the courts now. So no, she's never apologized and admitted anything.

Definitely not ok that they lied, but I’m still shocked that literally NO ONE did any verification of her claims. This isn’t computer tech. You can’t do biomedical research in your parents’ basement with one year of university education.

I'm so glad she's going to prison. She sucks SO much.
She had two kids to try and stay out of jail. And those kids will end up being just as crappy as her (and her father - who was involved with Enron if anyone didn't know)
She blamed everyone else and never took responsibility. And a man even ended his own life because of her.
She deserves every minute in that jail and more.

For those of you that don’t know, a camp is the lowest level of prison you can be in. They don’t house violent offenders, everyone in a camp is a low level security risk and is just trying to simply do their time. Anyone can do a stint at a federal camp, they can order the same kind of food that is available to us in the free world, they can have a tv, music, etc. It’s not remotely near the stereotypical prison or penitentiary.
