Love seeing the finish on the alphabet sampler, it is so sweet and something your grandchild will cherish. I, too; have watched all the “Call the Midwife” series and can’t wait for the next. My grandmother was a rural nurse in southern Illinois and delivered many babies in the homes. Of course this was in the late 30s and early 40s. She told me many stories of her adventures. It encouraged me to become a nurse, too, but a more modern practitioner.

Happy Easter Dear New Friend……I have watched You for awhile……as at 72 You really are so soothing to listen to……your sweet drawl to my ear…… that I can feel my blood pressure fall and my shoulders and breathing just slide comfortably into your cadence……also my heart was so touched as you mentioned the struggles with infertility……and how we as parents “stand on guard “when our Babies struggle having their own Babies…..holding up prayers for yours and mine each day……..plus “Call the Midwives “…….what smart…..intelligent, heart warming stories of “real women” ……..I too love listening ie audiobooks, a good podcast while I do handwork…… there is such great “payback “……Blessings on a rich week of goodness…..

Just finished watching on Netflix, "Call the Midwife" Season 1 EP 1 all the way to season 10. Probably third time I have done that. I LOVE the show. Also, Jan - first of March I watched Downton Abbey for the umpteenth time. I need another series as good as those two.
Your Sampler is lovely. What a treasure baby will have in 50 years that grandma stitched.

That baby is going to be so loved! Call the Midwife is one of my very favorites...I watched them all once and I’m planning to watch them again, they’re that good. Thank you for the shout out....you know I love you! It has rained so much here I haven’t planted one thing.
