"Acorns & Threads" is one of the most well stocked, well laid out, and roomy stitching stops I have ever laid eyes on. The ease of seeing/browsing the product was obviously a definite win ~*~

Loved all the beautiful scenery at the beginning! So many pretty stitch pieces!!!!
As a quilter I could not get along without the wool pressing mat. Makes quilt blocks lay flat without using Best Press. The wool mat holds heat so it’s like pressing from both sides. They can be found pretty much at any quilt shop. If I ever make it to that part of the country Acorns and Threads will be at the top of the list. Thank you for the great video.

My goodness what a video. I loved every bit of it and several cups of coffee, lol. I started cross stitching again today after my eye surgery 2 weeks ago for a macular hole. I was having to stitch with one eye but I see good with both now. Almost good as new. Shewww it had me worried for a while but I think all will be well when healing is complete. I feel like starting a few new ones since I only have 5 I'm working on. The Linen and Threads mystery sampler is first on my list. I'm so glad you are happy in your new home. It's a lot of work getting settled in and I know you enjoy your stitching and knitting spaces. Blessings my friend. Enjoy!

You will love the wool ironing mat. I am also a quilter and bought my wool mat at a Quilt Show 5 years ago. It is so wonderful for pressing seams while you are making quilts. You only have to press on one side because the heat goes to the other side. It really saves time. Now that I am doing less quilting and more cross stitching I leave the wool mate permanently on my ironing surface and use it for anything that I need to iron. It is a joy to have.
