Nvidia GTX 1070 Performance Review - The new 1440p sweet spot?

The GTX 1080 is badass, but it's still pretty darn expensive. But the 1070, man... It's pretty freaking awesome too!

Have had my 1070 since 2017 and now (in 2022) I can still play every modern AAA game at 2560x1440 with medium-high settings. This card is truly incredible. Never have I been more attached to a piece of computer hardware.

Finally built my desktop and I have to say: Even though 4K gaming is "pretty" and cool and stuff, 1080p and 1440p STILL to this day will allow you to render everything at the HIGHEST possible settings with the HIGHEST possible framerates.
For a card that only cost me 389$ (Bless you cyber monday), the EVGA GTX 1070 FTW ACX 3.0 is the BEST GFX card I've ever owned, and I have this video to thank for it <3
