The best book of 2022 so far for me was definitely Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys. Its raw reality and terrible beauty left me in awe. It took me a week to pick up my next book!

I'm highly anticipating the release of The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber this September! Although I reaaalllyyy want to read King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo this month.

My favourite book this year has been Radio Silence by Alice Oseman! I was really shocked because it’s a contemporary with 500+ pages and usually I can’t stay focused on books that long, but it has easily gone into my favourite books of all time list! It’s about Aled from the Heartstopper books :) I really recommend it I think you would really like it!

I am an older reader who enjoys your videos. My favorite book so far this year is probably The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See which is historical fiction about the South Korean Island of Jeju. Some favorites read this year that you might like are Concrete Rose written by Angie Thomas and read by Dion Graham, The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates and The Puma Years by Laura Coleman read by herself.
