I also had a rough first half of the year. Ended up homeless, jobless and losing 95% of my support workers. So here's to everyone having a better second half of the year

Heather I relate to this year being tough. My grandmother passed away in January and we are still going through my grandparents house to get it ready to sell. It was my childhood home and it is just really hard letting it go. My grandfather passed in October last year so to lose them within 3 months of each other has also been tough. Every day we go over there to go through more stuff, it just hurts. I miss both of them dearly. They were more like second parents than grandparents to me and my brother. It has just been really hard for me and my family as a result. 💔🥺😢 Also my reading hasn't been the best recently either. I think I've read like 54 books maybe? Not as good as last year's 400 but I'll take what I can get at this point.

I loved Ready or Not and really didn’t think I was going to but man that book came out of nowhere for me. It’s a contender for best books of the year for me 😊

I really need to read Just for the Summer. Everyone is raving about that book. I’ve read all of Abby’s books except the Friend Zone and Just for the Summer. I don’t think I am going to read The Friend Zone.

Hey did you know that Christina Lauren wrote a sequel to The Unhoneymooners called Honeymoon Crashers...I know you don't read a lot of sequels but you love The Unhoneymooners lol

My reading has been good and bad. Good because I have read 74 books so far this year bad because the books that I have read only 10 of them are from my TBR reading list that I made at the beginning of the year (the list is made up of 95 books).

I loved Practice Makes Perfect but I dnf'd The Rule book 🙈. The main characters just weren't doing anything for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t think Ali Hazelwood is for me. I loved the Love Hypothesis, I thought Bride was ok, and I DNF'd Not In Love because I was not jiving with the characters for some reason. Butcher and Blackbird is my fav book of the year. Loved L&L, too.
