I Have just purchased one of these. My driver has just been retired. I am hitting this thing 250+ metres not yards off the tee. Out to 230m off the fairway. I’m 58 yo. 18 handicapper.

Just tested this out against the G410, Speedzone and Mavrik. Had a lot more forgiveness and distance so took the plunge. I was hitting it around 235 yards compared to 210 of the others. Looks great at address too. Nice review.

Great review! 3 Wood for me is only really viable off the tee... Looking at getting a 5 wood of one of these.

Seems to have a nice sound to it, didn't look like Mike was hitting it very high though.

I'm an elderly golfer (handicap 17) and was struggling with my driver, and a Pro recommended I try the TM Sim Rocket 3 wood as a replacement driver, as I did hit my TM RBZ 3 fairway wood OK. Well after 3 months I am yet to hit two good shots running with the SIM, it's without a doubt the hardest fairway wood I have ever used and not much better off the tee. At around the A$500 mark it's not a cheap investment and I think this club is for younger single marker figure golfers.

I'm fairly confident you could buy a set of clubs in a garage sale and still hit them beautifully. It's all about the Indian, not the bow. Your swing is 10/10! Excellent review though!

Michael, you did a review on the Cobra F8+ 3W a couple years ago. I wanted to know how you feel that matches up against the SIM 3W? Forgiveness? Ability to hit of the deck?

seriourly $300 and it doesn't not have an adjustable hosel? you have to buy the $399 titanium to get the adjustable. They took a step back but not offering an adjsutable hosel in a $299 driver like most major makers.
