I feel like Piccolo could be in his list, since by training alone and literally just meditating he was able to keep up thru sayian saga to the end of cell saga by training on his own and having monstrous gains, with buu being his weakest showing. Then in super and in the manga, he still has decent showings all by himself, with h helping in the fight against Moro
