The best emotional acting of any actor. He just brings out that kind of power. Feel his pain. I feel the same pain when our world around us is unjust state. Greatest Superman Ever.

I honestly enjoyed Man of Steel, but these 16 seconds are better than that entire movie

It sounds cheesy but after growing up watching my father bully my mum mentally and physically, when she died of cancer aged 47 this is EXACTLY how I felt...

It's not just someone being pissed. It's SUPERMAN being pissed. LOL! That's what makes the fury in this scene so great.

A brief glimpse in to one of the most powerful superhero moments of all time.  Either in ink or on film.  Superman enraged has the power to overwhelm ANYONE!  Well done '70's...well done.

Hands down the most powerful scene of anguish and anger I've ever seen in a movie. Makes my heart drop every time I hear it. Even the look on his face as he heads into space looks genuine.

Such a powerful scene that can only be delivered by Christopher Reeve, the best Superman of all, the others before and after him were like men only dressed up as Superman at a costume party.

As much as I love the new breed of super hero movie, NONE OF THEM have pulled off this level of drama and emotion. This beats any amount of CGI and fancy special effects.

When you realise you've always been a 'nice guy' without realising it

As a big Superman fan I get this scene I feel his anger and I am a big Superman fan Smallville is my all-time favorite show of any show in the world and I still to this day declare it better than any show on television even to this day. And Superman is my hero and when he's hurt when he's in pain like this I feel it to in every fight I'm always rooting for him. Then there are many times where he gets overpowered and I get angry cuz I'm like the strongest in the universe and I hate seeing the Man of steel be defeated. There's a lot of things like in this movie although I know they can't make him do everything because this isn't a cartoon but you know Superman would be running everywhere or flying everywhere. To me he's the best

I never noticed how daring and dark this moment was for the very first superhero movie ever. Regardless of the Deus ex machina after it.

Literally best scream. Another mildly like it is by 11 from Stranger Things at the end of Season 2. Fucking powerful as shit. *FUCK* YEAH.
