Warframe's "We All Lift Together" (by Keith Power) is one of my favourite songs of all time and I am so excited to share our cover with you! For those who don't know what this song is:
It is a song the workers sing in the very first scene when you enter 'Fortuna' for the first time. 'Fortuna' is a sort of barracks for what are essentially indentured servants (debt slaves) to a merchant civilisation called the 'Corpus' (also known as "The Taxmen"). The 'Corpus' are practically a corporation. The board of directors of the 'Corpus' are the government and are ruled over by a Plutocrat named 'Nef Anyo' who is the son of the 'Corpus' founder 'Parvos Granum'. 'Fortuna' is located inside 'Orb Vallis', a frozen wasteland of factories on Venus. It is one of the open worlds of an incredible game called Warframe. Some people like the gameplay, some find it to be too grindy. But what everyone can agree on is the game is absolutely massive and incorporates so many different features it is near impossible to list them off the top of your head. The story and lore of this game is extremely comprehensive and is considered by those in the know to be one of THE greatest literary works of the modern era.
If you don't want to play the game, but want to enjoy the story, here are some great videos you can watch. They very long because there is so much to go over, but I promise you will not regret what you hear. It is best to watch parts, like an anthology of movies.
