Thanks, again. Just lost our family doggie Lucy yesterday morning. She was almost 11. And we'll miss her so much. I pray, yes, that shes with my mom who went to heaven 2 yrs ago. ❤

I'm disabled at 75 & just lost my Hobbie on July 2nd - She gave me one last lick that I will never forget - she knew it was her time but held on for me - she knew I would be lost & heartbroken without her 💔 😢😢

Bach flower remedies are amazing and definitely help to take the edge off of emotional overwhelm! I hope you feel better.

Peggy, I know exactly what you mean. I had a miniature pincher that was 7 pounds. I had her for 15 years. When I would cry, she would crawl up my leg to my neck put her chin on my neck and she would cry with me. She was amazing beautiful pup and was my little girl . she was only 2 pounds when I got her from the kennel. My heart goes out to you. To this very day I still miss her. I still think about her. You are so right when you say that there are so some losses that you never truly get over. I want you to know you’re an amazing woman. I think you’re a godsend to this world thank your husband as well for nurturing you so that you could be as powerful as you are. I’m sure you do the same for him and his ministry. Heartfelt thanks for all you do I’ll be praying for you both.

Hi Peggy. Thank you very much for talking about this subject. We lost our nearly 11 year old German Shepherd about a month and a half ago while traveling through Norway in our motorhome. Koda's death was unexpected and agonising to endure. Our life has been turned upside down since his passing and void left in our lives is enormous. Daily routines no longer have purpose and emptiness and sadness fills our hearts. I know the sorrow will be replaced by happy memories, but getting to that place is a struggle. Thank you again for all that you do.

I lost my youngest son. He was born on Valentine’s Day and died on the 4th of July. Ive had a very very hard time with losing him. I’ve also lost many pets throughout my life. But losing my son is and has been the hardest thing I ever ever had to deal with.

Thank you for doing this video, Peggy. So very sorry for your recent losses. Our pets that have passed on will never be forgotten. Appreciate the grace and dignity you show for pets and people. Sadly, I've lost too many pets over the years. Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of my husband passing away and to add to my grief, my Chihuahua died in my arms last week. Been a rough time but God is good. my faith in JC helps me get through the day. the saying is spot on:
One day at a time. I will check out the books and resources highlighted in the video. Thanks again. Hugs

Peggy, thank you so much for showing all of these books that look amazing!

I loved at the end when you were thinking about a senior pet.

As I aged in life, I started adopting older animals. They are so incredible!

Most of the animals I care for are young to middle age. But I see older animals now and I instantly just fall in love and want to hold them.

I love that you are sharing about journaling and getting our feelings on paper.

I used to do it so much more when I lived in a standard place, but then moving into minimalism, the VAN life, I started doing more on the laptop, but even that has become inconvenient.

But I am always healthier and doing better if I journal and write out my feelings. Thank you thank you so much for these vital reminders in life.

My heart literally breaks for you. I lost my 17 year old dachshund, Slim on July 7th. I’m also doing my best to cope. You have wonderful advice. I’m older so I’ve lost several animals but Slim was my soul dog. We will go on but the hole in our hearts will remain until we meet again. Prayers for you in this never ending process.🙏

Deeply sorry for your losses, can't imagine losing 2 so close together, hugs n Prayers. I Lost my Beloved GSD/German shepherd dog he was XL, It was 2 yrs ago the 13th of this month, I got him when he was 11 months old was basically a rescue, when I became disabled 10 yrs ago, he was about 6 yrs old, when he became my Service Dog he was Intelligent, Intuitive, he was just a month away from being 14 yrs old. Anyways, I have 3 GSD's now, while it helps to Ease the Loss, I miss my Ole Ace (nicknamed Puppy, he had such a Zest for Life) he got me walking again, saved my Life twice. I still mourn so much for him at times. Soooo, one thing that I found that helps me to redirect my Pain ( I realize your loss it still very Fresh) Is I thank Our Heavenly Father for making such a Wonderful Dog For me and that it's so Painful without him BUT, I'm soooo glad I got to have him & He/God knew just what I needed.

Grief after loss of a pet is real and it really hurts. I really hate when people say, well it was just a ....(fill in the blank) dog or cat.... They have no clue.

The cat Elsie is just one small piece of evidence of the copious amounts of good Peggy brings to this plane of existence.
It’s heartening to think she is way past done bringing good into this world

Please pray for our poorly pet rats Roseo and Rafe that the Lord would heal them, comfort them and bring them peace.

To lose a special pet can be worse than losing a family member, because it’s very close. It’s a touch thing too. It’s a very close, personal bond. It might sound dumb to some people, but I had a Guinea pig die and I was inconsolable. It was a special Guinea pig with a huge personality. That was four years ago, and I am still not over it yet. An online pet loss grief support group helped me a lot, though. A grief journal helps too.
