Growing up Mika has said that she and her two brothers would have to have something to say about news stories from the day when sitting at the dinner table.Their parents expected them to be paying attention to what was going on in the world. There would even be arguing and yelling over issues but that was also ok with her parents. Her two brothers, one a Republican supporter and one a Democratic supporter even got in a big fist fight on the front lawn one time over politics according to Mika.

Why doesn’t the Network give Mika her own show… She’s great and it’s embarrassing to watch how Joe always cuts her off!

When this segment aired, I was still in the habit of switching between The Today Show, and Morning Joe. I was also suffocating from constant coverage of Paris Hilton and the mindlessness of it all. When Mika did that, I just happened to be watching. I became an exclusive viewer of Morning Joe with that demonstration by Mika. It's fascinating how the men on the show at the time were so patronizing. Mika was right!
