For question 1.7, I made a bit of a typo, Mg loses electrons and oxygen gains the electrons. The rest of the answer is fine though!

there is a mistake in your answer in question 1.7. Magnesium loses electrons hence becomes positive, Oxygen gains electrons hence becomes negative.
