Actually, at that point of the story Eren was still trying to change future. But when he heard Sasha's last word was meat( which can also mean Nicollo, the man who Sahsa loves, because meat starts like Niko in japanese and Isayama made that so it can mean both and audience can understand it either way) which is exactly what he saw, he understood that he can never change future and thats why he laughed.

Yeah, it's half Eren's grief half he was trying to alter the future, and Sasha's last words must've been exactly what Eren saw. So it was confirmation that nothing he did would change the future. That kind of relevation would break any kind of person.

My father died 5 years ago. He was quite popular. So in his Death over a 100 people came and most of them were crying.
Me being his 'Son" who did not shed a single tear was gossiped amongst my relatives.
(Even now i visit his grave 1-2 times a week. And now only i seem to care about him. Amongst these years I've never seen any of my relatives even for their own parents, husband/wife, grand parents... Etc. Most people just move on)

Nah cause we saw in season 2 at the end when he awoken the founders power that he grieves with laughter. When they lost Hannes he was laughing maniacally while crying. Thats his way of grieving
