How to Cook Pork Pochero -| Tasty Pucherong Baboy Recipe. Originally from Spain and created many version worldwide. Philippine pochero is tomato base, with ingredients: beef originally but I used pork, chorizo de bilbao, potatoes, saba (banana), veggies like cabbage, bok choy, baguio beans and flavored with other ingredients. It's a popular dish in the country and usually served on special occasion. We love this version, hope you'll love it too. Bon appetit. All ingredients are optional, modify as per your liking. How to Cook Pork Pochero | Tasty Pucherong Baboy Recipe
Ingredients:
1. Fries
3 tbsp - olive oil
250 grams - sweet potatoes
4 pcs - saba

2. Searing | Saute | Simmer
***same used oil
1.1 kilos - pork belly
1/3 cup - onions
1 pc - chorizo de bilbao or Chinese chorizo
1 cup - onion
1 cup - tomatoes
200 grams - tomato sauce
1 tbsp - spicy chilis
1 tsp - ground pepper
2 tbsp - fish sauce | patis
3 cups - water
113 grams - 1 small can chickpeas
***fried sweet potatoes
1 tsp - chicken powder
1 tbsp - liquid seasoning
***fried saba
250 grams - baguio beans
250 grams - bok choy
250 grams - cabbage
5 pcs - spicy chilis for garnish

Cooking Time: approximately 1 hour & 15 minutes
