You cannot move the full Appdata Folder anymore. You can try to symbolic link them to a different drive but your programs will no longer work. This is especially troublesome when more and more Developers are using the Squirrel Windows installer. This installer will always go in the appdata folder. FYI Discord uses Squirrel Installer. This installer will not allow you to choose a directory path as it goes against the philosophy of why the dev created this installer in the first place.

Not to mention people running WSA (Windows Subsystem for Android) You cannot move your apps out of the Local folder in Appdata. It will break WSA. And for people that say "Just get a bigger SSD/HDD" is not a valid solution.

I have moved the Roaming folder to my Z drive as per your guide but there is still a Roaming folder (of the same file size) in my C drive. Do I need to delete the Roaming folder in my C drive to free up that space?
