Me: “Hey, Brando, you ever take a vacation?”

Brandon: “YES! Vacation is a GREAT time to *write* a book!”

This...is...accurate. (How did he just write 4 more books!)

Oh my word how did he write 6 books in 2020 though? And how does he still teach, have a podcast, stay connected with fans, spend time with his family, and consume so many forms of entertainment (movies, video games, books, etc.)? Does the man ever sleep!? (EDIT: I've started a war lol)

The man is a writing machine, fortunately it means there is never a shortage of reading material 😂

The struggle of always trying to re-read a whole Cosmere series whenever a new book comes out, while also reading other authors. Have to finish Wheel of Time quickly if I want to re-read all six Mistborn books before Lost Metal comes out 😅

My experience with Brandon Sanderson began with The Stormlight Archive books. I instantly got hooked and after I finished Rhythm of War, I just needed more Brando Sando, so a couple of days ago I purchased the entire Era 1 of Mistborn without even thinking about it. I just know it's going to be a blast.

I see people talking about how he must have ghost writers and stuff. It's funny, because I could totally see how you would think that, but no. It's not even that he's all that fast, he's just hella efficient. He spends like 8-10 hours a day everyday writing, non-stop. When he gets writers block, he just starts writing something else. He's also outlined large portions of the Cosmere like 2 decades ago. All these combined with a large team of editors and lore-experts makes him one of the most prolific writers in the industry.

No one:
Brandon Sanderson: *Writes five new novels in the course of a year out of sheer boredom.*

That's why he's my favorite author. Quality AND quantity all at the same time.

I got Oathbringer on Audible when I heard it was 55 hours, and I also had the book version. OMG! It took me forever. I related to this video! Signed up for all the new ones coming next year!

This makes me relieved that he co-wrote the last Wheel of Time books. They were one long book, but he decided to split it into three. Even so, with Memory of Light, he can't write any more.

Brandon Sanderson receives momentum and power from "page-flips" the way windmills operate on the momentum from the wind!
