Do peer groups always influence our self identity? Not sure about that. I think it's often the other way around: our self identity determines to whom we get attached. Peer groups correlate with our "selves" and don't shape it so much. We choose the group rather than it chooses us.

I always find it difficult maybe even annoying to listen to a woman narrator. High pitch voices are hard to keep listening to.
