keep in mind, even with popular colognes, they are not as common as you may think. most dudes dont really wear cologne and if they do its probably like old spice or something so i think an investment in a cologne is well worth it imo

Dont hesitate to spend some money on a solid cologne guys, it gives you a confidence boost and it makes you more likeable to everyone. Think about it, you'd also rather be around someone who smells nice no matter if its a guy or a girl. It also makes you seem like a mature and put together guy.
You can go test colognes in store, but often you can find better deals online. Also watch a review before commiting to a bigger purchase, they tell you how it performs and everything else you need to know

A teen myself, I would recommend not blind buying popular fragrances because some might not smell to your preference. For example JPG le male and ultra male are wayyy to sweet and artificial for my nose(almost smells like very cheap bubble gum to me) But you still might like it. My favorites are Versace Eros and YSL Y.

Mont Blanc explorer and Burberry Brit Rhythm is really good, I often get compliments when I wear Dior Sauvage. Honestly when it comes to cologne it’s best to go to a store so you can smell it in person, from there you can recognize the certain theme or notes in a cologne you really like.

Fun fact, years of spraying “fragrances” on your neck will wrinkle, and dry your skin due to the alcohol used. That’s why a lot of older women have heavily wrinkled necks and chest.

You guys should try samples to know if it fits you. Some perfume may smell nice on the cards but it’s important to know if it smells nice once it’s set into your skin and to know if it will get on your nerves because sometimes you can get dizzy from perfumes you don’t quite like.
