This just proves how toxic social media is. If a 41 year old is easily influenced by Tiktok, now imagine children

If you're using TikTok as a credible information source, being deep in debt with no retirement savings are the least of your problems.

I’m almost 40 and I don’t even have a TikTok account and won’t get one. Too busy working out and saving $$$ 😅

It's crazy how people can have solid incomes but also be in debt with no savings

Outstanding video. I love watching this channel. I've learned a lot and also have utilized some of these strategies. Thanks for uploading it, as usual.

One thing not mentioned here but has been previously mentioned about being out of debt. You feel different/better. All of a sudden if some financial event happens you can handle it much easier.

What happens if the guy slips and falls or something? He's in a "physical job" He needs more than 1, 000 in savings. Wow!

Any good way to earn more than 3-4% on idle cash with virtually no risk right now? Willing to lock up for up to a year or so if needed. What are good options? I have about $173k retirement funds that i want to grow.

I’m 40, have little to no interest in TikTok and I have at least 1, 500 saved for an emergency. Next order of business (since I’ve also eliminated a majority of my debts) is to save 3-6 months (years ideally, but months realistically) and also to step up my match game in my current retirement plan. I also need to budget a lot better as I continue to make stupid little purchases…which is hemorrhaging money.

People started 401Ks in the 1980s, Home Depot stock was 50 cents, it has increased 600 times since then.

He can do it. Honestly, I know so many people older than him with no retirement and not doing anything about it. He needs to do something.

They should start asking how much do you spend on going out to eat I bet that would be a lot of money

Social media is a waste of time. Buy what you need not what you want.
