Rachel Reeves has begun delivering the first Budget by a Labour government in 14 years.

The Chancellor said that “change must be felt”, adding “the only way to drive economic growth is to invest, invest, invest.”

She is thought to be seeking to raise £35bn to fill a “black hole” in the public finances.

Sir Keir Starmer has warned the nation to prepare for “tough decisions” to be made, adding it is a “huge day for Britain”.

He warned: “We won’t shy away from the tough decisions to grow our economy and protect working people’s payslips.”

Stop funding Israel through MOD contracts and spending billions in military air and sea support and that bill would £40 billion less

I don't like Labour's untrusted answer and they always avoided Mr. Sunak's question not just election campaign in June but in house of commons.

They wave a magic red briefcase at us, and the game of life shifts. Where we're going, none of them know.

Problem, a nation dangerously indebted, the Labour party's answer, more grossly irresponsible borrowing. The future is bleak indeed.
