Olive Ateliers DUPES - bread boards, paper-mâché, vases... oh my!

It's Cassie and this week I'm creating Olive Atelier dupes! I love that rustic, old world style and I'm going to show you have you can get the same look with thrifted finds and salvaged wood.

Materials Used
Black vase:
black and white acrylic paint
elmer's glue
water

Ridged Vase
hot glue
joint compound:
black, white, brown acrylic paint

Rustic vase:
black, white, brown acrylic paint
joint compound

Paper-mâché Bowl:
dollar tree bowl
joint compound
tissue paper, flour, glue, hot water
Behr spray paint

Bread Boards:
English Chestnut stain
Ebony stain
Golden Pecan Stain
Wood Conditioner/Wax

TIP for the large round bread a hole in each side of the boards you are connecting and insert a small piece of wooden dowel rod to hold them together. ❤

I think maybe asking two more to the back of the big one so it isn’t off balance of you choose to use it. I wish I had the tools and bravery to try this! They are all beautiful!

General you want to go ahead and connect your boards then cut out your shape not the other way around. Using wood glue clamps and yes dowel rods to connect the two works well. Also you can't use those breadboards for food now cuz stain isn't food-safe.

I just found your videos. I’m sure a lot of people have told you this but I’m going to say it again. 😂 if i don’t have a large clamp I tightly wrap tape around my project. Works great!!! Loved your projects!!

I'm finally caught up from a month ago and can I just say... WOW!! 🤩 Attila (or whatever) has nothing on you! My husband has buckets of joint compound, spackling, etc. (from endless renovations) and I have plenty of random jars, bottles, and bowls to transform! 🎨
