Preserve my faith. Keep me pure. Keep me believing. Keep me trusting.

It means God is not only the "gifter" of saving faith but He is equally the "grower" of such faith. All is from Him with regards to relational and saving faith. I praise you God and forever.

I pray that peace reigns in your life instead of fear. Only Jesus can secure your future and only He holds your tomorrow's in His hands. He will never give up on you. He loves you. 🙏

Titus 3:4-7 KJVS
[4] But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, [5] Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; [6] Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; [7] That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Luke 17:5 KJVS
[5] And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
The Lord never really answer their request. Paul writes this.
Romans 12:3 KJVS
[3] For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
And this which is more to the point.
2 Corinthians 10:15 ESV
[15] We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others. But our hope is that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be greatly enlarged,

God's foreknowledge does not equate to forced knowledge.

God is not a wicked puppet master who decides who gets saved and who is lost.

God has predestined those who would believe to be conformed into the image of Christ.

God draws all men unto Him and He gives a measure of faith to every man, it's then up to us to decide where to place our faith.

Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation.

Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation.

This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

God immediately declares you justified and gives you everlasting life as a free gift.

Salvation is absolutely free, instant, and eternal, recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service to God.

Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God.
Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are for temporal fellowship with God here on earth and for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.

The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone.

Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel.

While this petition makes sense, Jesus doesn't include it in the Lord's Prayer. Jesus did not walk around teaching others to "increase their faith, " although he did comment on the amount of faith in individuals ("you of little faith" or "never have I seen such great faith"). Jesus also did not answer the disciple's petition to "increase our faith!" with instructions on how to do it or say when he would do so. Instead, Jesus answered, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea, ’ and it will obey you.…" (Luke 17:6) Perhaps faith is equivalent to power and he is strategic about it, allotting his power in relation to trust and/or timing. Romans 12:3 speaks of the "measure of faith." It reads, "For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you." Faith is indeed a resource from God, a gift to fulfill our roles in his body. He allots it. Our job is to serve in humility and obedience and wait on his calls and power.

"How Does God Strengthen Our Faith?"

Kind Sir....I do not believe God (who IS Jesus)...strengthens our Faiths "Directly"...

...But Jesus CAN cause our Faiths strengthen, "indirectly". IE: Jesus would NEVER make us love Him, like Him or believe in Him, etc! For that has to be come from us. For Jesus never wants us to be a "Puppet on a String"! So; suppose a hardened atheist; get's a small Faith in Jesus; And Jesus deems he was sincere. Like one of the thieves on the cross.

And Jesus then; commands His "Holy Spirit"; to give that man a "New ("Spiritual") Birth; which is called "Born Again". AND Jesus also as he does to all, blesses that man with "Heavenly Gifts"; that he has NEVER experienced. Thus, the man in many cases; will strengthen their Faith in Jesus. Etc.

So we could say: that Jesus made that man's Faith strengthened. But it would not really be true. For all Jesus did; was blessing him with gifts. And that caused him to have more Faith. Thus, Jesus made that, only indirectly! But the strength; came from the man! Amen!

End of Story and I rest me case...

..In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
