G to C is so hard for me I purposely avoided playing happy birthday bc there is a C chord in it 😂. The lead ring finger transition is a trick my teacher taught so I’m glad you mentioned the same trick. 😊 thank you

I'm a self-taught beginner and I just can't believe that the anchor finger trick, which I've been doing unconsciously all this time, is actually right. I've tried to "plop the whole chord shape down out of nowhere" this whole week and I've felt like crying every practice session because it just flashed me "Damn, do I seriously suck this much?", so you can already imagine the joy that's engulfing my self-esteem right now.

Great tip for anchoring the ring finger on the transition!

Great job of explaining these chord transitions. It seems impossible at times to ever learn to do this fluidly. T.Y!

I was taught to land the bass note finger first to give lil more time to make the chord shape ... meaning you theoretically can start strum once the E string or A string is fretted ... and you’d continue bass notes to higher end treble note fretting .... for most part the main difficult one is the G to C your showing, for me anyways ... always has been and think always will he a clumsy feeling no matter how many thousands of times I practiced / practice it hehe

I play a G cord like giving the bird to someone. It doesn't include the B string or the pinky finger.

I discovered your anchor finger technique on my first day of chord progression practice.

I just play one finger bar chords, and move that one finger up, or down the fret board to where it needs to be, and if I want a G, I simply strum all 6 strings open. I keep my guitar tuned to Open G. It works great for me.

Why don’t you use your favorite HD-35 in these videos? It would be nice to see and hear this awesome guitar!

Argh! I just found this series but I already started the 22 lesson beginner series. Should I switch to this one?

Is there a link to the actual 30 day lesson? I don’t see it on the website.

I've always played the D chord with my pointer and middle finger reversed from how you play it (ie pointer on the e string and middle on the G). Is this difference in my technique gonna become a hindrance further down the line when chord shapes and transitions become more complex?

I can’t access your beginners course. It’s says captcha problem and I can’t use the contact you link either. Please can you help?

Be nice if I could get my fingers to do that, I have tried for years and still am unable.
