The SC1 communication system from Sena is designed for SCHUBERTH helmets C4 and R2.

Microphone, loudspeaker and antenna are already built as standard in the helmets C4 and R2.
The SC1 module and the battery are latched into the helmet. The controls are easy to reach at the helmet edge.
For even simpler operation, a remote control can be connected as an option.

High performance for sounds and conversations

Pair your SC1 with your smartphone and your navi, and listen to music, make phone calls, or navigate. A robust Bluetooth connection couples two external devices simultaneously.
The SC1 allows four-way communication with your companions.
An FM radio is integrated in the Advanced version of the SC1.
With up to ten hours of talk time is probably the gasoline rather than the battery charge of the SC1.

Forget the noises with Advanced Noise Control ™, the wind and road noise is drastically reduced without affecting the perception of the environment.

SCHUBERTH represents premium quality. We’re constantly working to improve our products. We’ve even gone that extra step with the SC1 so that we can guarantee our customers the optimum communication experience. The firmware update 2.0 ushers in multiple new functions: its customised configuration menu makes the SC1 easier to use, HD Voice provides crystal-clear audio quality, and the fine tuning on the volume control ensures perfect sound reproduction at high volumes.
These updates make the SC1 Advanced an exceptional allrounder. The new audio multitasking feature allows you to hold a conversation while listening to music or the radio at the same time. The group intercom function makes it easy for customers to connect with up to four others for a multi-way conversation.
These and many more new functions put the SC1 Advanced on a level playing field with the planned SC2. This means that any customers who are already using the SC1 can update their comms system with just a few clicks. For this reason, we have decided to invest in upgrading the SC1 functions and postpone the development of SC2.
The firmware update will be available as of 14.02.2019.

Have the issues with the SC1 comm system been fixed? I’ve heard that everyone’s main complaints are that they have a hard time connecting/ staying connected with other riders’ senas, and that the battery compartment allows the battery to get joggled around causing it to shut the system off at the slighted jarring (like when you open and close your modular lid). I really want to buy this helmet and the SC1 comm system.. but I don’t want to spend that much money just for it to be a headache.

Also, does it works better in a C4 Pro rather than the regular C4 ? Is it better the front microphone?

It’s it possible to make a call by using voice control eg. Say call home? Have the SC1 system access to all contacts in your phone or only 4 numbers?

Hola una pregunta tu que lo tienes claro, que diferencia hay entre los intercomunicadores para estos casco el Advanced y el standar, por lo que vi solo más tiempo de comunicación y radio por 45€ más cada uno o se me escapa algo .

hi. I am thinking about the C4 carbon and the Sc1 advance. I ride alone, so no need for community with other riders.
my question is sound quality. I love my music, so any input on the quality and loudness of the speakers please, will be greatly appreciated.

SC1 Standard & Advanced are user unfriendly. Android app so pure. Disaster of communication gear.
