I have one question
Are all sides of polygon will be equal?

Sir...I tried this same method again and again...and came across same problem...

Keeping the bottom line 5 cm.

Problem is that after Hexagon... I found a gradual increase in to sides of the polygon...
In case of heptagon... 2 Upper sides 5.2 cm.
In case of octagon... Top most side was 6.1 cm.

Please do reply for the same.

Be a sane person and code it.
It's relatively simple:
All you need are:
1) The parametric equations of a circle.
2) A center point from which you'll draw.
3) The angle for each polygon.
