Get These Widgets on Your Mac's Desktop!

Did you know you can get widgets on your Mac's desktop? A lot of you have been asking how in our latest M2 Max MacBook Pro Review and so I figured I would show you!

To get widgets on my Mac, I am using an app called WidgetWall, which is priced at $9.99 per year (or through Setapp if you use that). WidgetWall works as soon as you download it, putting popular widgets on your desktop, but you can customize what's available, the color, the size, the location, and more.

99% of the time I forget the widget bar exists in macOS. With this, I might actually use the widgets on my Mac

If this was a one time payment or supported first and third party widgets like HomeKit, Batteries, Parcel, Things 3, and WaterMinder it would be an insta-buy for me but I can't imagine subscribing for such basic functionality. But I did enjoy the video and am now hoping Apple integrates a desktop version/option of their widget bar in their next MacOS update.

Pretty cool. It would be neat if you can set it up on it’s own desktop so it won’t clutter up the desktop. Maybe the one on the far left. 🤔😬
