if you hold your breath in a place lacking a sufficient atmosphere, like Mercury, Moon, or other such celestial body, as well as in open space, you will survive even less, because the internal pressure will literally blow your lungs out :) lol
also, even if you could hold your breath in space without the pushback from external athmospheric pressure maintaining the balance for you, you still won’t be able to hold it for more than around one minute (unless you have a larger than average lung capacity, like that of trained endurance athlets, brass musicians, or ethnic highlanders, such as people of Peru, Tibet etc…), so even without blowing out your lungs, you will be able to survive for only about a minute, more or less…

moreover, every fluid in your body will instantly boil, and I can assure you, you won’t love it :)

but even apart of that pressure thing… there’s also this pesky temperature thing that may kill you even faster, depending on the temperature.

in any case, your death will be 100% certain and very unpleasant 😈

therefore, if we take all of these sircumstances into account, I bet, you won’t want to add even a moment to your naked open space trip, because in case you are out there without your space suit, with zero probability of survival, and 100% certainty to experience tormenting suffering all the way out of existence, I suppose, the faster it will happen, the better :)

which means, you would probably still want to hold your breath out there… (I dare to guess 😈) however, for a completely different reason:
in order not to delay your death, but on the contrary, to speed it up as much as possible :)
