Disco Elysium was a very lucky break because everything about it was so different, so surreal and so abstract from everything else in modern gaming that it could have easily flew under everyones radar.

Fortunately it found it's target audience immediately and now Harry is everones favourite mess of a human being 😅

I was lucky enough to spend some time with Kurvitz, Hindpere and Rostov last summer. They are incredibly lovely people, and to see the damage this did to them is a nightmare. Even spending a few days, I can see why this game was a beacon in an era of a creatively bankrupt industry. They are all massive talents, with incredible and powerful insights into art and philosophy. As always, I wish them well in whatever comes next.

EDIT: No matter how someone is treated in a studio, Kompis objectively stole from, gutted and imploded it. The staff squabbles, as Kompis essentially tried to make it appear, is a very obvious smokescreen, which makes this all the more infuriating.

This psychoenviremonetal idea actually remind me of torment: tides of numenera in more gameplay version as in tides changes were mostly done via narration and only places that were being physically affected were final areas of the game (with was technically innards of Gargantuan tentacle monster so half-engiroment half-sentient being)

I've heard this game talked about over the years with just how bizarre the dialogue can branch off in different ways. The art style is genuinely amazing as well. Ig this is a sign for me to finally try it out so i can get an idea for what else the scattered devs can come up with!

One of the most heartbreaking Moments in the last Years for me. Disco was a Game that i deeply loved and hoped for a Sequel, be it World, playwise, or the Mass Effect save-file method with the Iconic Characters.
Hearing that the People behind the Game fell prey to the allegations that they make in the Game hit´s hard, even with the not full Picture back in 2023.
