Russian join - joining yarns (thread yarns)

The russian join is a method of joining yarn.

On this video you can see how it looks like. For better imaging and clarity we joined two yarns in different colors.

1. Cross the two yarns' endings.
2. Thread a yarn needle with the old strand and thread the needle through the plies of the yarn, just like on this video.
2. Thread a yarn needle with the new strand and thread the needle through the plies of the new yarn, just like on this video.
3. Pull the ends of the strands tight. It's done!

Russian join works when you use the wool mainly, but not when cotton is joined (the yarn splits up). In the future we will show you how to join cotton yarn.
