I watched this video a few times before I understood it. The days can go forward and backwards but the date can only go forwards. I just got my grandfather's watch serviced and setting it for the first time, kept trying to pull the dial out just one click vs two and found your video looking for answers!

I recently purchased a 1970’s Timex analog watch with the day/date feature; and was befuddled that the stem only pulled out once! How would I coordinate the weekday with the date? Thanks to your video, I was able to do it!🕒👍

Sorry, did I miss that part about what one does the 5 months that only have 30days and the one 28 day month? My guess is you set it by hand since the watch has no idea what month it is.
