RUSSIA's Economy has COLLAPSED in the first 6 months of 2023 as Oil & Gas Revenues have fallen 49% & Costs have increased dramatically. The European Union Ban & Price Cap on CRUDE OIL came into effect on 5th December and the additional Ban & Cap on REFINED Products started on 5th February. In this video I provide more details of the figures and discuss the problems that Russia is now facing.

Can you check your numbers it looks like with all numbers increasing by similar amounts each month the tables are not individual revenue but monthly accumulation. The overall conclusion in % would not be different but numbers in the table would make more sense.

That increase in oil-gas and non-oil gas looks more like accumulated revenue since start of year rather than month by month revenue

As other commenters have noted, the linear increase of monthly revenue can be explained by the numbers already being cumulative. Besides that point of confusion, this was a very helpful analysis. You might consider unlisting this video, rerecording it, and uploading again to avoid the confusion related to that. Thanks for the information regardless.

Non oil or gas revenue could include gold sales . Covering up the sale of their gold reserves .

Isn’t it a bit suspicious that they would not only have an English section of the page, but Excel documents written in English about their financial statements? Or the fact that they’re publishing financial statements at all? I would take those documents with a grain of salt.

IT seems to me that the Non oil and gas revenues reported for 2022 and the first half of 2023 are cumulative (ie the sum of all months in the given year up to this point). Otherwise, there has been a devastating drop in non oil and gas revenues between dec 2022 and jan 2023. This is backed somewhat by the fact that the increase pr month seems almost constat every month and matches the initial number for january 2022. If this is true, then Russias economy is tanking even more than this video

The data you are inputting to your spreadsheet is ALREADY cumulative. So you are adding up the cumulative numbers! And you can see this as there is no way that russia would be selling 8 times more gas&oil in june compared to january. I thought that somebody would've pointed this out on the may numbers, but apparently not as you still use this.

Are you certain that the figures reflected each month are not already cumulative? It is interesting that every months figures for each category are higher than the previous one.
