From what I've seen with Caleb he reminds me a little of Brees: hangs in the pocket and feels pressure and can make the tight window throw. Great arm obviously and evasive

Let's celebrate that they're both playing very well right now! It's great for the NFL, and more importantly, for Da Bears.

When Jayden has 3 legitimate receivers an a stout defense this question is gonna seem so stupid 😂😂😂😂 remember he’s elevating a 4-13 team

Please STOP comparing RG3 to JD5!! RG3 was a talent, but JD5 is a processor, student of the game, humble & a true pocket passer!

no shit caleb ceiling is higher, its a reason he got the generational tag and went 1st, as a bears fan i hope he reach it

I'm a 52 year fan of the Commanders. All I ask is this continued growth into next season. It's a huge relief to watch Washington be competitive and talked about. I never saw the greatness in RG3. Jayden Daniels has it. I don't understand fans that don't get that is a sport. Either Jayden or Caleb will have more success, and/or better stats. Of course its going to be discussed, and predicted, now

I really don’t like the Lamar-Jayden comparison, just because he can run doesn’t mean he’s a run first qb. He is 80% pocket passer-20% scrambler. He is what Lamar is now, in year 1, it’s not even close

This was a smart conversation and different way at looking at it, great show

Bears fan. JD is an absolute unit out there and deserves every bit of attention he’s getting.

I would still take Caleb if given the choice to redraft. Think Caleb has the higher ceiling and will keep growing. Hope both, and really all the rookie QB’s this year, stay healthy and have some good battles for the next decade plus

I think the point about NFL analytics tending more conservative is the fact that missing a 3 is nowhere near as devastating as an INT in the NFL.

In baseball, the best guys are out 70% of the time, so it turns out that hitting it really hard for the 30% of the time you do get a hit leads to better outcomes.

For 3 pointers, the outcome is the same as a miss from 2, and 50% better if you make the shot. So basically you’d have to be 50% worse at shooting 3s than taking a regular FG to make it not worth it. And these guys are really good at hitting 3s.

But if you take a shot downfield and miss, or worse give the ball away, it’s so much more impactful than in the other sports. Limiting turnovers and taking the high percentage plays seems to be the way to go because the downside for failure is much larger.

No Rose slander tolerated DRose could definitely shoot but was 1 of maybe 2 or 3 players on that team that you could trust shooting of which was a Kyle Korver and Maybe Luol Deng stop it.

"Ass, legs,
shoulders" huh? 😂 All jokes aside both will be great Jayden will be ok down the road thanks to his height. Just needs to continue building his pocket presence and avoid those big hits.

I think these 2 guys can give their franchises something they haven't had in ages: A longterm hi-end QB that could lead them 2 the Super Bowl. That's all u can ask 4 for from the #1 & #2 picks.
