I've been doing that for over 30 years 🤩I also separate the meat while it's still in the original wrap and leave it separated so when I'm ready to cook it I cut the portion put the whole large pack of meat in a large freezer bag I save in freezer bags also 🤩

i didnt see this video, i already was doing it. We started eating beef not so long ago, but ill make a suggestion for people who also might want to use this tip. I buy turkey ground from aldi, 1 lb, I divide the beef to 1 lb bags, and when i use it, i mix it with the turkey ground. Its 3 of us, (the 4th is the baby) so 2 lbs per cooking, you save money on beef and its good delicious, depends on what seasoning you put. Great for everything. I dont recommend walmart turkey ground, they put something in there, aldis turkey ground is better.

Handling the meat that much, even though it’s in a bag, isn’t good. It’ll get handled enough when preparing the meals. It ruins the texture and cooking of it to handle it so much.

Yesss 🙌🏽 I also bulk season with the fresh garlic / green seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper before repacking into smaller portion sizes. Saves on time, this works for our family.

When non perishable items are on sale,
Buy extra.
Always have at least "one in use and one in backup".
And when your in use item is running low, begin keeping an eye out for best price on restocking it.
The aim is to never have to pay full price for storable items.
