The biggest flaw in the thinking of the enemies of Eternal Security is that they fail to realize just how sinful they are themselves. Their own pride and arrogance blind them. They hypocritically condemn other believers who live in unrepentant sin or backslide, failing to realize that they're just as sinful in God's eyes. If salvation can be lost, then who is righteous enough to keep their own salvation? Only a self-righteous hypocrite would claim to be sinless, holly and righteous enough to please God and earn their place in Glory. The Word of God in the Old Testament puts them to

Isaiah 64:6, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

As for me I am a filthy rotten sinner deserving the pits of Hell and the ONLY righteousness I have is the Imputed Righteousness of Jesus Christ:

“And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was IMPUTED to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be IMPUTED, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead” (Romans 4:22-24).

I know Jesus is the one that gives everlasting life but how can I be sure that He gave it to me?

Amen Brother. First John 5:13. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. John 3:16-18. Gods word, and He cannot lie. John 6:40. John 6:47. Romans 3:26-28. For He is the just and the justifier of them that believe in Jesus. Where is boasting then? You cannot boast in a free gift that we did nothing for but BELIEVE it.

Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but BELIEVETH on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Faith apart from works. And the GIFT is eternal life, not faith. Romans 6:23.

The gospel is GOOD NEWS. First Corinthians 15:1-4. Galatians 1:6-9.

John 3:16. See all you WHOSOEVERS in heaven. God cannot lie.
