150 gallon tank set up-- Through the cycle!!!!!!!

It is possible to cycle a tank quickly with the addition of at least one pound per gallon of live rock. There was no noticeable spikes in either ammonia or nitrite, but in week three there is 10 ppm of nitrate with diatome algae in the refugium. Both of which are signs of a complete cycle!!!!

Tank is looking good. Just need to be careful about adding too many things too quickly. You can force your tank to recycle.

Finally! Someone who has the same skimmer as me! Almost no videos on this skimmer. How's it working for you? Mines not really pulling anything out, it just gets junk on the neck but nothing in the cup. I've had 2 clowns and a cleaner shrimp in my 90 gallon for almost a month, can't figure out why it's not pulling out anything. Sitting in about 9 inches of water. You having any similar problems or am I doing something wrong?
