I tested at Apple store - they definitely sound better but not as comfortable- the guy who showed me said some people complained they got a headache from using the 3s for a while, or found them uncomfortable

I had the pros, loved the sound but the fit and uncomfortably made me return and get the beats fit which felt uncomfortable and cheap!!! So I now have the airpod 3 and they are fantastic! Sound quality is brilliant and they fit and hold superb!

In my opinion sound on 3 is not as good as on pro... clarity and sound stage is much better on pro's. Low's is not everything in music, right?

The fact that you mention the AirPods 3 having more bass than the pros, makes me happy and excited. I have the pros and I like the sound on them but I always that the bass was more at lower volumes. I have to drive them at near max volumes to meaningfully feel the bass. After watching your review, I’m actually seriously contemplating getting the 3.

Frankly to say AirPods 3 has better fit at least for my ears, for performance I think AirPods 2 (my previous AirPods) & 3 are very similar except for spatial audio
For sweat proof etc, my AirPods 2 frankly never had an issue
Battery life I didn’t feel difference between 1, 2 and 3rd gen 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have the AirPods Pro and i became from freebuds 3…. I thougt i could had a problem with silicon tips but unexpectedly i love them. Like the way they fit in ears and the fantastic noise cancelation

One question that you did not address between the pro and the airpods 3, and the one that I am curious about is the microphone quality.
Which one of these has a better mic that tends to cancel out background noise whilst on calls, meetings etc?
