yo, just wanted to say that these breakdowns are awesome. I come from a previous music background in rock/indie/funk styles playing guitar/drums/bass. I've recently got into edm over the past few years, and shit like this is exactly what I need. I know the theory, i know the melodies, but I can't get the sounds in my head out into the DAW yet. I've actually been practicing by recreating my favorite edm tracks from top to bottom myself to learn techniques, since this is what I did with guitar/drums/bass when I wanted to get good at those: learn how to play great artists' songs.
