My long term review with Fujifilm X-E3

I just picked up an X-E3 recently to serve as a back-up to my X-T2. I'm using it with the little 18mm f2 and a 35mm f1.4. Definitely a scaled back control set but wanted a take-everywhere set up and it was about 1/3 the cost of the x100v. If 35mm field of view is a primary focal length you can live with the X100 series certainly makes sense.

Good review. Regarding the EVF: I have the same problem when wearing my glasses. However by removing my glasses and adjusting the dioper control on the EVF I can use it just fine.

I sold an X100F to get my first XE3. I'm currently on my 2nd. Have to go with what feels right to use, and for me the flexibility outweighed what the X100 had that the XE3 didn't. The V was already too expensive when I considered it, so I had an XE4 for a while. My only quibble with your assessment is that an articulating screen is a must. It is nearly so, but growing up shooting film, there were plenty of times I shot street by setting the exposure and then blind holding the camera to get the shot. A good skill to learn. My main issues with the XE3 is that the EVF doesn't have an eyecup and the W126S batteries are small. Enjoy that X100V.

I’ve had this camera for over two years now. I love it. Buy spare batteries and sweet manual lens and this camera is perfect! It makes you take more pictures and you get better at photography.

Thanks for the video. It looks like this line isn't being developed any more - that's a shame but perhaps it's impractical to fit a good evf into this price point?

X100V?

It is nice to be rich. Brand new, when still being manufactured, it sold for $1400. Because of the tik tok crowd pushing this camera the price, used, goes for ~$1800-2000. I am not paying a premium for this body.

Fuji rumor site have predicted new body announcements the beginning of the year. I hope the sixth iteration will be announced. I’m looking for 1) 40MP sensor and 2) IBIS. I will be amongst the 1st to place an order.

I have an XE1. I like the small size. It is slow and the autofocus is not very good. Just purchased the XF27 pancake lens. Wow is this combination small and light. A good EDC. I want an XE3 but they are too expensive for me still.
