That guitar looked pretty clean before the procedure. You guys could have used a well played one.

Also, I found it hilarious the fact that this guy sounded "surprised" when he "found" a loose component on the guitar.

The tightening of screws is great lesson. Even if it seems like a no-brainer to us veterans, the newbs can still use this information. Should've also addressed the loose input jack nut since that's a common problem too. Still looking for a good way to clean gloss finished maple fretboard since you can't use abrasives on it. Good video. Don't be afraid to work on your own instrument, friends.

I find this entire video surprisingly low quality and non-informative of anything to do with cleaning guitars. Very little information or detail. No insight. Questionable methods. I’ve never disliked a video before, but this could be the first...

I would not spray the cleaner over the guitar, but rather, spritz the cloth. This helps prevent moisture from getting into places it ought not get, like the jack and the selector switch.

Also, what everyone else said about using pliers to tighten the tuners. That made me cringe! Use a wrench or a socket!

You should never turn a chrome nut with a toothed pair of pliers unless you want to scratch it. Use an open end wrench or smooth channel locks.

Use a 1/4 ratchet and a deep socket to tighten the tuners

You should also take a moment to really tighten those screws around the pickups, especially on either ends. They are almost always loose. /s

Each time I finish playing, I use an old tee shirt and wipe down the neck and guitar. I also spray the cloth not the guitar.... On my maple neck I use Dr Duck ax wax . On my rosewood same

I have a Made in Mexico Tele. It has a softer nitro lacquer finish. What is best way to clean that and what product is best?
