This has got to be one of the best videos for learning riven's combos I have seen. Showing how it's done in practice and then also showing the execution through the multiple clips is something I haven't really seen done for riven before (be it for the lack of active riven main content creators or something else). Your matchups videos have this high quality content too and I am very happy to have discovered your channel. If your coaching is anything as informative as this I am sure saving up for it would definitely be worth it. Thank you for the content!

Thank you Alois, for all these guides! I really appreciate the way you keep things concise and simple, without any fancy useless montage plays, just the basics that actually matter every game.

The fact that you are offering detailed matchup guides for free, that are both in depth and high quality will help so many players be better toplaners and not just for Riven.

I feel like what makes the difference between a good Riven and a bad Riven is the way they transition a lead into a win. I'm sure a lot of us would highly appreciate a guide for mid to late game decisions to showcase more of this.

The best reason I like this type of guides compared to say Adrian or other Riven players is that they give the combos but they don't give the reason why you should use it or examples in game situations. But also complicating other mechanical combos like R<E<R<Flash<AA<W<Q when you can just use the basic combo of just E<R< flash 3rd Q<AA<W<R

Key factor in double casting after E is that it only works when you press Q 2nd

Alois - a riven tip Id like to add relative to a extending. If you start with an auto q auto, you are stuck with a q cooldown. You can use e w (auto sometimes) between q’s (q will be close to going on cd remember) so it is an extension of q. Bush camping late game you have low enough cd to cycle through e and stay protected

Ive found out you can use s to cancel the e animation as well. You could use this to cancel e in a fast trade and you want to escape.
The combo would be: w -> s -> e , you can insert this into your own elaborate combo.
Personally ive bound the 's' key here to the space bar, as its a better hand position.

when doing the Q AA Q AA Q AA combo with double canceling. After I click the ground, should I press the auto-move-attack button to re-start the AA? For me it's too difficult to click the ground, and then click exactly on the enemy champion again. Often when I click the ground, it's not even Q-canceling because I clicked on the ground too close to the champion. And if I click too far away from the champ, I can't click on the enemy champion quick enough (yes I'm not Faker, what a shocker). Tips?

When you go for the e flash auto w q combo, you actually want to right click the auto *before* you press flash. This will buffer it and make it as fast as possible, with no delay. You can also flash immediately on the e animation, you don't have to wait to the end like with a normal double cast, to make it even faster.
