The title was changed I think. The 5200 has great image quality but I think the GH3 is much better at hand and more flexible. You will also find a large selection of lenses made for u43, unlike nikon that makes only a handful of DX lenses. I'm also looking for a smaller camera. The D800e is too large for long hikes. Both are great cameras and you should be very happy with the GH3. This is coming from a owner of the gh1 and gh2.
