Well explained Chris. Drops and jumps are the thing I have no confidence in doing and it's always good to get a remind on how to approach and do.

malaga bike park has a wooden sloping drop at the beginning of one of the trails which lands to horizontal. it was a head fuck. i kept screwing it up and couldn't land it (crashed a couple of times out of the five or six attempts.) i kept nosing. horizontal drops are different and i seem to have those in place. please do a video on the former. thanks.

Great video, but one thing that concerns me is the position of my battery and if it will stay fitted post landing drop offs like this. Any chance of a EMBN producing a similar video riding with an underslung battery pack e bike (like my Giant Trance SX E+ pro).

I think I go for for a lot of "Mental Visualisation" with that Corona lock down ;-)

The video is fab as always guy keep up the great work. When doing a basics video could you do it as if you were the beginner, for example instead of doing an X-UP a TABLE-TOP just do a straight jump with out any style and may add it in on the second or third run. I think would make it easier and more realistic for the beginner and then for something to aim for.
I hope this doesn’t come across as me being condescending just something I’d like to see.

If you have a long wheelbase, make sure you have enough speed!

Does grabbing a handful of rear brake drop the rear quicker ?

When I land tail first, it feels like the grips want to jerk right out of my hands.

Looking for an electric bike, I stay in the UK and they limit the speed to 25 kph and a 250w motor max.👍🚴

I usually have the front wheel dive down and hit 1st, you don't share techniques to avoid that nor do you discuss body position in this video. You also don't share how to have back wheel hit 1st.

Sorry to be captain sensible but how many of the bikes we're riding are designed for this, ie Cat 5 ?
