Great lesson as always, Ben. I like how you're taking some of your visual art knowledge and terminology (point clouds) and applying it to music in a fresh way. Randomness is a great way to get out of repetitive habits. I find myself doing it in my work quite often.

I think a good scale to try this with is the blues scale. If you are a programmer you can make it only select certain notes in specific situations. Maybe you could make it always resolve up on the leading tone, or make generate things in phrases.

From all the things you said on recent livestreams i've realised how much the future of AI technology excites you and simultaneously how much it frustrates you that people don't seem to realize that it is not a replacement for creativity, but a tool to enhance it.
I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, but you using AI technology to the fullest and seeing how much of Ben we are getting out of it (and not a robot), makes me look forward to the future.
