How well do you think Tottenham will do this season?

Sensible Transfers was a series that I've been watching as a fan for years. To get the chance to write and present one myself was an absolute honour. Hope you enjoyed everyone!

Holy crap, N’Dicka, Kadioğlu, Bakayoko, and Openda? That would be a scary good team

Werner is not back on a permanent, hes been loaned out for a 2nd year

Our strongest links are Solanke and Pedro Neto. I think both would thrive under Ange thanks to Neto’s directness and Solanke’s hold up play. Hope they happen!

I've disliked all the sensible transfers from this season so far, in particular my own club liverpool and qhen I saw this notification I felt like straight up ignoring it but I've always found Alex's opinions level headed, this has easily been the best of the season

I would argue that our best winger at taking on their man right now is Timo Werner. Every game he's always taking his man on and sending it into the box from the left wing with his pace. I do think we need one more winger with similar features.

Need a dominant No. 6 to stop transition goals against

Agree on the winger issue, it’s the main problem currently, with possibly Neto coming in it will help most definitely but Bakayoko availability would edge us to another level. Solanke would be a good replacement for richarlison I think, his aerial dominance would help us massively, unfortunately Richarlison being injury prone hammers the attack. Kulusevski is gradually being switched to a 10/8 where he looked quite comfortable in preseason as he’s not a good winger.

Tottenham don’t need another “fast striker” - they have that in Son. What they need is someone who is able to unlock tight defenses by being a presence in the box, a clinical striker with a good header on him. Richarlison can fulfill that role at times, but struggles with consistency.

Best Sensible Transfers video of this window! Excellent choices and not just linking rumored transfers like with the other teams.

Eze, Solanke, Neto are the targets. Maybe a different striker but those are the actual ones

As a Spurs fan, this is a really good video. Alex really knows his stuff.

Only issue here is we are right at the limit of foreign squad players, so realistically we can't be shopping across Europe for all these names here.

this is (as a spurs fan) the first time i’ve seen someone get this right, it looks like we’ll get solanke instead of openda but i think we’re getting him for the same reasons you addressed with openda

kadioglu and bakayoko would be perfect, literally couldn’t have named better players for what we need

ndicka would be good but i think 4th choice CB is a position im least worried about addressing this season, think ST / RW and full back cover is much more important
