Sensible Transfers: Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham had a strong Summer transfer window, and with the loss of matchday income due to COVID-19 restrictions their business this January may be minimal. So where should Spurs prioritise? Tifo takes a look at the areas of weakness and suggests solutions in the form of players.

Seems like Gravenberch will be the new Ibrahim Sangare on Tifo

I swear this has become one of the best channels for new comers to the sport and also veterans providing videos explaining terms, tactics and history while also videos like these.

Just wanted to say this will be 3 different decades now when mourinho has played finals in competitions.
Talk about longevity

Hugo Lloris has not been winding down. His performances have been the best of his career. His age is a concern, but saying he's in decline is wrong

"At 6ft 2, he still has a couple of centimeters on Lloris."

Our generation in the UK will forever be confused. Don't even get me started on temperatures.

These used to include actual stats in them, not sure why the series went away from that stats based focus in the video, even if the choices themselves are still based on the underlying stats.

OK I agree Lloris will need replacing eventually but to say his form has been in steady decline is highly inaccurate.

His form has picked up since Pochettino left and he has actually improved as a GK under Mourinho. For me he has been the most consistent Keeper, possibly the best in the league since Project Restart.

But yeah good video otherwise.

They're targeting Marcel Sabitzer. He'd suit their midfield more than any of the players you mentioned.

Spurs will win the Carabao Cup, good for a team craving trophies! The summer Pochettino was sacked, they signed pretty good players.
The club is in a right direction!👍

1:30 "he can play as a 6, an H or a 10."

Seeing as Spurs are already really struggling with the homegrown quota, I don’t see any of these as sensible as there would be no room in the non homegrown squad list without replacing current players.

"He's 6ft 2 but has a couple of centimeters on Lloris" why are you using 2 different system to measure height in the same sentence????

Based on his Europa League cameo. I think the Tottenham brass have faith in Alfie Whiteman as an eventual replacement to Hugo Lloris. Considering our issues with homegrown player requirements, I doubt GK is a significant area of concern in the coming windows.

Love you guys x

As a dutchman i appreciate your pronunciation of the "G" and "Ch" (which are the same) in Gravenberch. I know it can be hard and weird for other languages. You can do the scraping even harder, but again, its nice to not hear an english "G" or somehow an "H" like people do with Van Gogh for some reason

Lloris has been on brilliant form since he came back from injury and has been coming out to claim crosses more than ever

Lloris is getting old but how can you say he’s declining ? He’s been in his best form for the last 3 years at spurs than his first three...
