Okay so I had a weird phase in high school where I was weirdly obsessed with anglerfish (because who wouldn't?) And the males basically wander around aimlessly until they find a female (like at least 5x their size if I remember correctly) and attach to the female with their teeth before literally fusing their blood system together... So the male is just a sperm upgrade. And I might be wrong about this but I think more than one male can attach to a female but it might be another species I dont remember off the top of my head.
