No actually speed increased as well, not engine alone transmission was upgraded as well.

I like how "bulat" means round in Malay. A fitting name considering how "round" does the turret looks like lol

Doctrine is important to keep in mind with these tanks. They are gen 2 MBTs but through upgrades they have become gen 3.5. The T-64 will always be overshadowed by the less capable but more economical T-72. When used correctly with the right support, the T-64 BULAT is a terrifying opponent. While there are more modern MBTs, the doctrine of use is what makes them superior, not the tank itself.
