So this is supposed to be a what-if Error Sans had interfered during the fight between XChara vs ink of course none of this is canon, it was just one of the ways that I found to make them fight each other

Not to say i'm ungrateful for the fight scenes, but i'm honestly happy you gave more of a "lore" standpoint in the fights. Its amazing and it makes it seem more engaging, so I love that idea you added to this. Because the story of this happening would make so much more sense instead of randomly appearing outta no where. So amazing job dude! I hope we get more theses in the future.

Really loved this animation! I love how you make a story behind and include the actual Underverse scenario but just changed out though to actually make it more fun to watch!
People usually just *make* characters fight in a blank room or something without much thought into it but I really like how you set this up! Very nice animation, must’ve been painful!

Well done, Nec. Love how this matches near one-to-one the fight between Blue and XChara in Underverse. From Error catching one of the blade mid-air to the scene where both are falling upside-down with XChara's blades behind him. Jakel would be proud.

This makes Error feel hella threatening and i love the subtle refferences to Blueberry vs XChara.
Also, PLEASE make the Error vs Nightmare you just teased us with!
I was always curious how that would go and great animation once again, mate :D

Hell, yeah! The next confrontation will be between Nightmare and Error. I think so, because the same second animation of the battle between Ink and Error was a continuation of the battle between Last Breach and Error. The animation itself is very dynamic, coolly animated, and most importantly has no plot whatsoever. In general, very worthy, especially with the hint at an even more epic battle between two popular mascots, which are called the strongest for decades and someone in the animation finally announce the winner.

I like how it's kinda clear from the start that yeah error just wins in any case, there's no Xchara is gonna use all there power to hurt him/kill him it's just error overpowers Xchara. Even with overwrite error dodged every attack. And just wanna add this looks amazing! You could really get a sense of how powerful they are and is faithful to the og with how they fight, overall a amazing animation! Amazing job!

Alright, in depth matchup analysis

Overwrite: the fact that X chara didn’t use overwrite when they were trying to get X gasters soul from ink and error in underverse 4.0 implies it wouldn’t work on either of them. Not to mention them not using it in their fight against error, a fight they would have lost if not for nightmare. Overall, overwrite shouldn’t have any direct affect against error

Blue strings: if the blue strings grab X chara it’s GGs. They have a really solid defense with their knives, gaunt knife, and overwrite knife techniques. If error was quick and speedy he could blitz X chara and string them up, but error would likely rather string up X charas overwrite creations, which leads into

Overwrite creations: X chara can summon the X tale cast to fight for them. This was even in one of necs older animations. While in theory this is powerful, error is actually the worst possible opponent for something like this. Blue strings can very easily grab onto almost any X tale character, save for possibly sans who depending on the variation of X chara might be the only X tale character they can’t summon. Error is already a massive threat, but error with all of X tale under his direct control is GGs.

Overall: Error very likely takes this one. His win conditions include simply overpowering chara, using blue strings, taking control of X tale characters, or just straight up destroying the universe they’re fighting in (Error *can* destroy a universe, but it’s an ability that’s shown to be so incredibly inconsistent that I wouldn’t count on it). Charas only win condition is overpowering error, who scales to serious ink, who scales with X chara at their peak, making both of them very much relative as long as peak X chara is used.

Okay, here goes. First off, since this seems more like an interference battle than a normal 1v1, I’m gonna try to predict why Error would fight XChara, and not Ink or Nightmare, and the others. My only guess is that he was impacient with the X-Event and Disney like the idea. The snitches in the Anti-Void told him what Ink was doing before 0.2 ended, in which case he threatened Ink in XTra Scene 1. In this scenario, he was impatient, and attacked in UnderSwap. He could use everyone besides Ink as puppets to fight XChara, though that just seems unnecessary when he could also just use XChara himself.

X-Event!Chara in UnderSwap has 19 hp, 991 atk, and 100 def. He only got 95% of Swap!Chara’s soul, and has a Hack Knife (the strength of ten knives, so 990 atk), and the locket (99 def). He has powerful DT, able to survive with a deadline without a soul. That’ll help him take more hits than he should. It also gives him reset priority throughout this timeline (if you wanna call this empty UnderSwap a timeline). He has XForce training, so he’s one of the best melee fighters in the multiverse. However, he lets his guard down too often and underestimates opponents. He can manipulate knives, so you can have a knife flying at you from nowhere. He has the Hack Knife, which can manipulate code, and even erase characters. Error isn’t code-less, so he should look out. The Hack Knife is one of the best weapons in the multiverse. X-Event!Chara also has half of Overwrite. He can erase someone from the timeline he is in. It makes him fairly omnipotent (not metapotent), but XChara doesn’t have much imagination or smarts. We’ve at least seen him use pages as platforms. Overall, X-Evenr!Chara has the potential to defeat code gods, but is generally weaker than them, especially considering he’s a slave of Nightmare, who is weaker than a god-like being.

We don’t know the stats of Error, but we do know he probably has some of the most LV in the multiverse, from what he does, and from being in the new multiverse since the start (if you’re wondering what I mean by new multiverse, just ask). He is a variant of Geno, so his DT is at least equal to Frisk’s. He doesn’t have reset priority though, but he should still die when he wants, like Geno can. He has multiple eye problems. He has poor eye(socket)sight, and sometimes gets blinded by errors. Sometimes he crashes, and needs to reboot. He has hapbephobia, but I think it’s ignored while he’s fighting, since he expects to be hit. He has strings, which are able to rip apart any non-immune souls of beings (immune beings include Abyss, Fresh, 404, and King Multiverse). When he rips the soul apart, it also takes the code out of the body. But all that matters in this scenario is that he can kill XChara instantly with his strings. His strings control whoever they’re tied to, able to prevent resets and other buttons. His blasters are able to delete code from locations they blast. These don’t erase code from beings though. But it could affect any structure XChara creates for assistance. Error is a god killer, and is stronger than most creators. The only ones he aren’t stronger than are ones inserted into the multiverse, such as XGaster. A normal attack from Error could possibly bring XChara down to 0 hp, and have him rely on his DT.

I don’t think XChara stands a chance, but Error’s fights are still entertaining and always take a while with his fighting style. The Overwrite will also add a bit of flare to this fight. Plus, Error has to make sure to kill XChara with his strings, since he’ll reset if he doesn’t. Error is 7 leagues above X-Event!Chara. I’m wondering if Nightmare will do anything, since his slave is in peril. Ink shouldn’t do much, since this timeline is already non-X-istent 😉. But he might want to save XChara to continue the X-Event. As for Blueberry and Carrot, I think they’re against XChara. They can be used by either XChara or Error. Error could also potentially control Nightmare, if Nightmare let the strings go deep enough in his goop. I could go into more detail on the other characters, but this animation is Error vs XChara. If you have any questions on the others though, I could answer and speculate.

After further discussion in the replies, we have determined that Error has 53, 281, 980, 600, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 hp, 19, 998, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 atk, and 999 def. So XChara would have to land a good hit on him with the Hack Knife to win. He also has to make sure that he doesn’t get tied up. If Error wants to kill him normally, it would take multiple resets, but eventually XChara’s DT will drain and Error would have to kill once more.

Unless you count Shift!Chara’s battles, this is the first time we’ve had separate variants fight each other. Not just Bete (who is basically a Chara) vs XChara, or Sans vs Sans. It’s a Sans vs Chara.

Just now had the time to see the animation! It’s great! It got a bit repetitive, but that’s kind of expected with these two. I like how you included C!Sans (if the phantom of XChara is C!Chara, I’m guessing the phantom of Cross is C!Sans), since he would be part of the soul, like how XFrisk is somewhere there too. I somehow didn’t think about XGaster interfering. He’s the one who put Swap!Chara’s soul out of XChara btw. However, what’s different about this is that this fight took place before XChara came up with the idea “One universe, with the best of the others.” So in this multiverse timeline, the X-Event is lasting longer. Glad to see the Nightmare interference! Since this fight is taking place before Carrot even gets ACTed on, he should be joining Ink’s group into the search for the X-Event I suppose. Blueberry is up for heroism, and Classic and Edge seem too dedicated by this point in UnderVerse to give up the chase.

Now for Error vs Nightmare. XChara won’t be able to do much, since the soul is taken away, which takes away his ability to use half of Overwrite (poor baby crying over oworwrite :3). He can still use the Hack Knife though, but I think he’s going to rest for the content. Nightmare might summon Killer. Alright, here goes: Killer is no threat to Error at all. His goop blaster can drain Error’s DT, but Error (and the rest of the Geno line) has a will strong enough to refill. Seeing as Error attacked an ally of Nightmare’s, I think their mutual truce is broken, and they’re going for the kill. I don’t think Nightmare will be able to rely on his negativity powers on Error’s soul, since Error doesn’t really have any regrets for what we know. He’s lonely, but he has no regrets. So he also can’t turn him into stone. So it’s just normal fighting, where Error should still be 7 leagues above him. I think Nightmare should try and get negativity out of XChara instead to create the negativity reality. He can’t make it from Killer, since he’s emotionless. Though, even in that reality, he’s the only one who can die. He is stronger, but can only reduce other people’s hp to 1. It’s kinda like the Save Screen if you think about it. Plus, if Nightmare makes the reality, then it is a 3v1, since it seems his slaves are forced from that reality to work. But there’s still no way they can beat Error. Let’s get even more hypothetical. Error could accidentally make Fatal_Error versions of XChara and Killer from that reality, since it’s like the Save Screen. However, this would respawn them in the Anti-Void, and it would be separated from this battle. So basically, you’ve now got an X-Event!Chara (they have the X-Event soul back, they grabbed it when they became conscious, Cross is still unconscious) with strings and a Killer (currently emotionless until Nightmare comes back) with strings and possibly a still alive Nightmare (who still has XChara and Killer as slaves if Cross was still classified as his slave after getting his soul changed) vs Error. Plus, Nightmare can definitely make a negative reality since these 2 would be angry upon waking up. He’d have to fix Killer quickly though, since without that Hate produced by no emotions, he will melt from Chara’s soul he absorbed. Here, Error is definitely outmatched. Both XChara and Killer have more DT than him. X-Event!Chara has better stats than before with their actual soul.
